Orlimar HipTi 420 (re)shafting

So I wanted to get the standard Orlimar/Penley 4.0 degree torque, regular flex, 52 grams shaft replaced from this club. I went to Golfsmith and had the shaft removed. The gentleman there told me that the shaft's diameter was greater than .375 but less than .390. I knew that Orlimar's hosel diameter was not standard .335 or .350. I thought it was .365. I could easily have shimmed a .350 into the head. Has anyone replaced the shaft in this head with success or could this guy at golfsmith have possibly been wrong? Thanks
-Brendan

go to an auto parts store and have them mic the inside diameter of the hosel first, and let us know what it is. then we could be in a better position to tell you what to do. mike
