Shaft Flex

I need stiff flex shafts, but I want to purchase a set with regular shafts. Is there a way to get them to stiff flex? LMK. Thanks.

you would have to reshaft them. before you buy, stop in and see your local club repair shop or dealer and get an estimated cost first to see if it's worth while.

Not sure why you don't just buy stiff shafts. Only way to convert is to re-shaft. I built my irons last year and at 72 years old, I thoughT I would move to regular flex (I use Dynalite, low kick point shafts) but I was a little reluctant to go all they way, so when I trimmed, when it called for 2 inch trim on regular and 3 inch trim for stiff, I trimmed 2-1/2 inches - PERFECT.

Not sure if this helps, but that is about the only solution because of the trimming required before installation.

Graphite shaft flex

I just reshafted my Nos. 1 and 3 woods with "senior" graphite shafts. I was looking for a "low kick" point and got one, but the flex is "regular" or "senior. " My supplier tells me that firm-flex graphite shafts are all mid and high kiick points. The senior flex is too weak for me because at 72 years old, I still whack it pretty good.

Is anyone aware of a "firm flex" graphite (or composition) shaft, that has a low kick point AND low torque (less than 4 degrees)?

Maybe the Gafalloy ProLaunch Blue 65. 2.8 degrees of torque and a low kickpoint.
