I have them in both my Driver and 3 wood. As long as your grip is not too tight they are great.

Finally got my 3 wood back with the G8 and it is awesome. It was almost orgasmic when I gripped it for the first time, it felt like my hands sunk into it.

Just wait until you have gigantic wear spots on it 2 weeks from now. I had one on a driver that lasted half a season.

I'm no PGA Tour Pro, but that doesn't sound like a good thing.

I have the winn g8's on all buy my hybrid. 2 or 3 months into mine, 30 rounds at least, lots of practice, one long drive contest with the driver. All the winn g8's are doing great, no wear spots and still as great as the day I got them. Only problem is my clubs kinda rub each other in the bag and the red part gets some black on them, but they wash off.

If you like the G8's, you'll LOVE the EXCELL AVS Ai grips.
