Golf Pride Multi-Compound - Difficult to get on

Is it just me or has anyone else had trouble regripping a club with the Golf Pride Multi-Compound grips. I tried to regrip a TaylorMade R5 TP w/ Diamana shaft today and could not get the grip all the way to the butt. I have regripped many clubs with no problems. Just finished regripping my irons with Golf Pride Dual Durometers this weekend with no problems. Wondering if it's just me or are these things hard to get on a club.

I have done plenty of these grips and never had an issue with them. The only grips that I have found to be a little more difficult are the standard black winns.

although, nobody likes the plastic grip tool (except me), they do come in handy when you get one that doesn't like to go on.
