Shaft length question

On average, what is the finished shaft length for a 3 wood? My high end shaft connection has a 41.5" Fuji 553 Tour Spec X, that is a one time pull from a 3 wood. There was miscommunication when showing me pics of another matte blue Diamana that I wanted to acquire, and it looked as if the shaft was uncut, but after sending payment, he saw that I perceived the shaft to be an uncut 46" shaft, when in reality it is 43.5", so to make things right for the miscommunication, he is throwing in the 553 Tour Spec X at no charge.

the standard lenght for a 3 wood is 42.5 inches overall. the 43.5" shaft would have worked after trimming it down because it came out of a driver. you got a very nice break getting an uncut shaft because now you know that nothing has been altered , like tip trimmed to make it stiffer.

Thanks for the response Mikey

Looks like I'll have a matching Fuji to replace that V2 in my 13.5*. Now, if I can only find another 8.5 TP head for this matte blue Diamana

Yep...I bought the Speeder 553 Tour Spec that is in my driver right now off of the same guy for 150, uncut. Tourspecgolf.com has them for 299 for the TS. Golfsmith has them for 250 installed. It definately is a great shaft
