I am looking to pull some graphite iron shafts, I have pulled many many steel shafts. I do not have a shaft puller is the an easy way of making one. I do not want to twist the graphite shafts while heating. And should I use my heat gun or micro tourch? Thanks

other than using a crow bar, there's no easy way to make a puller. put the head so it's next to the vise, put the crow bar in between and push the head off when heated . heat gun or micro torch will work. i usually start with the heat gun, but if it's not cooperating, out comes the torch.

Ahhh, never twist a head off a graphite shaft. If you have the time use a heat gun. If not then Micro torch with a lot of even heating. as far as the vise I think Mikey300 is about as close as you can get with out buying something. If your good at weilding then i am sure you can copy something from a golfsmith picture of a ratchet style shaft puller.
