Scratched up my new driver...help

In just 48hrs I've managed to scratch up my FT-3 driver. I cleaned a spot on the top of the head with a kitchen sponge and it left some fine scratches. Then today I bumped my driver on a cinder block as I walked by it...leaving a short deep scratch that went down to the metal.
What can I use to get out the fine scratches? Where's a good place to find touch up paint?

I just ordered the touchup paint...should I use a polishing compound to get rid of the fine scratches?

Or just hit the ball with the center of the clubface. That works, too.

Oh yeah...to get that sticky tape residue off your club ... just spray it with some WD-40 and it comes off pretty easy.

I can assure you that piece of tape will increase the swing weight of your club by at least 1, whether it be scotch tape or the PUP.

how about teeing it down lower to avoid skymarks, and when on a jobsite with cinderblocks, either dont bring the driver or leave the headcover on... lol

would you mind explaining that considering that one piece of tape at most would be a fraction of a gram? also, do you think that most golfers would even notice the difference?

Place your driver on a swingweight scale and then drape a dollar bill on the head. You'll amazed at the reading. If this PUP has some sort of teflon base to it, it weighs at least as much as a dollar bill if not more, don't you think.
You correct one account though. Anyone who needs to place a PUP on the top of their driver to protect it probably wouldn't notice 4 layers of tape.

that'a a good answer. a while back, i was swinging the woods really bad (steep) a would place and inch wide scotch packing tape along the top edge of the face and top which provides just enough protection in case of mishit. don't need it anymore.
