How to remove Paint fill??

Should I use Paint Thinner? Because I tried that, and it didn't even touch the paint. Let it soak for a few minutes even.
What works??
Thanks!

I stipped the paint out of my Scotty to redo it because it's previous owner had coloured it in blue. I used mineral turpentine (pretty similar to thinners really) and a sharp, pointy metal instrument to scape it out after. The turps wont just make the paint 'fall out' you gotta scrape it out.

Acetone works really well. Come armed with a q-tip and a toothpick to get the tough spots

Get some "slow" laquer thinner from your local auto paint store. And wear gloves.

Well, I soaked them, and started scraping. It seemed to be going pretty well until I got into it a little bit and slipped and....SCRATCHED the wedge!!! Oh well. I was hoping for something magical that would just melt the paint away...

Try a product called air craft stripper. It can be found at most auto parts stores. spray it on wait a few min it is like a gel. remove with a cloth and rinse the paint will be gone.

It's too late for orndorff_24a but I suggest a set of hard plastic picks to avoid scratches.

Well, how 'bout a clue?...are they woods from the sixties or are they brand new store-bought metal 'uns?

Dish Detergent

Try liquid dish detergent...you'll need to use an entire bottle. Pour the bottle into a bowl and add a little water...the key is to have way more soap than water. Let the club soak overnight in it and use a tooth pick or soft brush to remove the paint.

I did it with my irons and it worked perfectly.

I'd try the acetone...(finger nail polish remover) and tooth picks.
