OK,so i got a new 2nd hand putter the other week.Its a Ping Zing 5BZ,its in great condition & i like the look of it at address but its way to light for my likeing.My old putters weight in comparison with this one is unreal.

There is a small square of lead tape on the bottom/toe of the putter already,approx 1cm x 1 cm.How can i go about adding more weight to it without effecting its balance to much ?

I know nothing at all about this kind of stuff so any advice is greatly appreciated,cheers in advance !

There are a few ways but too much weight will change the center of gravity and the balance....yet if you do not mind change your stroke a little bit it will not matter.

They make putter weights you can get at www.golfworks.com They go inside the shaft. Also you can put lead power or suger in the pretty cheap and it will make a difference. On the head it's self you pretty limited to lead tape.
