Protection

Is there a wax or something I can use on my driver, fairway woods, or irons that would help protect from minor scratches? I am mainly concerned with my driver because the paint gets little scratches where the broken tee sometimes rubs against it. The sand used to patch sometimes scrapes my clubs too.

Buy two sets. One set for everyday use. One set for special occasions. The ones used everyday can be machine washed. You'll need to hand wash the special set.

Seriously, clubs get scratched. There's nothing you can to about. Try the brush tees if the scratches really bug you.

I second that! It is like buying a new car and putting seat covers over the leather. They are going to show wear plain and simple!

Ok thanks. I guess like all things, you are upsessed with keeping them looking new for as long as you can and then you soon just wont care any more.

There is a light wax called Scratch Out that I use on the crowns of my woods - it helps fill in the little daily-use scratches in the clearcoat and what not.

As for the bottom of the clubs? Ther only way to not scratch them is to not use them.

If you are talking about the colored streaks from using colored tees, then use the natural wood tees. they dont leave marks.

Plain old car wax will work to protect the crown of the woods from minor scratching and adds to the appearance also. Applied to graphite shafts, it will also add a little protection from normal bag wear.
