warm it up some , this should melt the glue to the side of it.

hi nashie, first, welcome to golf rewind. when you took the shaft out, could you see the hole inside the hosel? if you could, what you need to do is first, pull the shaft back out, then with a small pen light, get the piece of epoxy or whatever, into the mouth of the hosel, you may have to lay down so the neck doesn't get so tired. once you can see the piece, it may either fall out (hopefully) or you may have to get a thin but fairly stiff peice of wire and bend a tiny hook in it to try to pull it thru. generally, if you get the peice just right, it'll come out on its own. it's not easy, and can be frustrating, but you'll get it.

that generally doesn't work that well and it's certainly not good for the head since you would really have to get it hot to get the epoxy in a liquid state, much less, get it to stick and stay stuck.

my fault, could of swore I read that here. They did say to not use too high of heat , so you don't burn the outside of the driver. That was if you didn't have the shaft off. So the idea of fishing it out sounds better.

yes, unfortunately, i've done that more than i like to admit( once is too many). it usually happens on a broken shaft when you have to drill the shaft out, stuff gets shoved into the head. fotunately, this hasn't happened in quite a while. it's best just to take your lumps, pull the shaft out and get it out.

I'm not familiar with TM, but some companies use rat glue in their heads for s.w. purposes. If thats the case you can heat the head to reset the glue. If its old epoxy piece rattling around in there, then you have to remove the shaft (check the bore plug) and pour rat glue or rattle stop into the head itself (i use a small straw) and try to catch the rattling piece in the rattle stop
