Club head shifting?

I use a horrible driver, just because I am new to the game, and when I bought this driver I didn't know I was going to get addicted to this game. But I have begun to suspect that my driver head is shifting...I feel like it is more closed now than it used to be. Is this possible or am I just a lunatic?

usually the logo on the shaft is inline with the topline of the club, it it's not, ther's a problem unless it's been spine aligned (unlikely). you could just grab a hold of the handle and the club head and give it a twist, if it moves, there's a problem, if it does'nt the lunie farm down the road has a vacancy.

It would same strange that the clubhead would close, given that the strongest forces on the clubhead during the swing and during impact are trying to open the clubface (unless you have a really awkward follow-through!).

I had the same problem with my TM 580XD. Took it to the clubmaker who had put in the shaft 18 months prior, and he demonstrated how the shaft was loose by twising the head. Simple fix for him, he took out the shaft, cleaned excess glue from the shaft and hosel, and re-epoxyed it in.

See if you can twist the head while holding the shaft steady.
