That was sweet....NOT

..hit the range today..1st time in a few weeks...wanted to hit my 'new" used Hogan Medallions...went fine til I got to the 6 iron....2nd ball..... WHAMMO... head snaps off, flies down the range.. 1st set of graph shafts I've ever hit(irons),and THIS happens....
Question: should I get ALL re-shafterd,due to age? 'cuz I didn't skunk the shot, and it BROKE @ the hosel(?)ring.... or, should I forget the Graph and go with steel? I like the way the graph performed, but I've never had a steel shaft break?
any input is appreciated...

Is this the mid 1990's model Hogan Medallion? I'd guess so since the earlier Medallions were way back when irons did not have graphite shafts. I'd reshaft with steel since it would probably be impossible to get another graphite shaft like the one that was broke. You could even do the work yourself. I've reshafted and built clubs and it is not hard at all. I could do it for you if interested.

Thanks for in info & offer..I believe these to be the years' you state...do they make a reasonable facsimile in graph that these heads could be mounted too? I'm fearfull that age is working against ALL reamaining shafts...so a complete overhaul is in order, correct?

Graphite shafts from 10-15 years ago are much different than today. I would not even guess as to one that is similar. Is the the club?

1995-97 Medallion

That would be them....I've only hit 'em twice,as for the shafts, I'd really rather have the proper shafts for me...so having graph isn't an issue, I wonder if it'd really worth the cost? they seem decent enough irons..

graphite is waaay no with irons in my opinion, grab your self some true temper dynamics or rifle steel shafts, and your performance will improve, the irons are pretty nice, but your not going to get maximum performance out of a club made almost 20 years ago, stick with the steel
