Anyone tried/had any results with building grips up for individuals with fast hands?
I have been having a problem drawing/hooking my wedges lately. My normal ballflight and my current flight with all my other clubs is a fade. I have checked grip/setup/swingpath and all a good. The only thing I can figure out is that I am just closing the face too fast (possibly because of the heavier swingweight/headweight?)I recently regripped and decided to give it a try.
As soon as I get a chance to get out I will post some results.

I have a practice club for the range and about 5 months ago I developed a terrible hook, so I had the club regripped with exta wraps to quiet the hand action...worked for awhile until the "band aid" came off...did not get rid of the hook until I addressed the problem in the swing (quieted the hands)...
IMO i wouldnt try tampering with your grip size. That would be a quick fix for a potential long term problem.
I'm thinking your getting a bit quick with the hands, which is causing you to release the club early causing the hook or pull. Check your right hand grip and grip pressure. Make sure your not grpping too tightly, and make sure your right hand is not too much in the "strong" position. Try and imagine your hand leading down with the club head slightly behind the swing path.
I appreciate the swing tips, but since I am hitting all my other clubs very well, I really don't want to tinker with my grip/swing.
OK, I was able to get in multiple rounds with oversized grips on my wedges. Basically, I regripped all my clubs with Golf Pride New Decade Multi Compounds.I went standard on all my irons. I overlapped wrapped x2 my wedges to build up the grips.
I can say that this is probably one of the best things I have done. With the larger grip, I feel like I have far more control over the wedges. These wedges just feel better in my hands. Also, keeping the face open for bunker and lob shots is much easier.
I think this really points out the fact that even though players can be "measured" for grip size, feel is the most important factor.
As with any equipment tweaks, this worked for me but might not yield similar results for others. But, if you regrip your own clubs, give it a try. All you are out is a few mins of your time and the cost of a grip.

Evidently feel IS a factor for you...
I tend to agree with you on grip size and feel. I got measured a couple years ago and the guy told me to get jumbo grips because I have rather large hands. They felt great at first, but now I think they are too big. After swinging some clubs with medium sized grips and even standard grips...they feel much better to me. I'm downsizing.
I had my irons and wedges regripped this spring and when they refit to determine the size, I fit into the midsize. While I was immediately skeptical about changing to a larger grip, it seems to have worked in the long run b/c I've hit the ball much better. But I pretty much hate my grips b/c they are too hard to clean. I have the new Winn G8 and they are ok, but they wear out too quickly even tho they are supposed to last longer (they don't last much longer). It's pretty much impossible to clean them because if you clean them with water, they get damp, and gets hard to keep grip pressure. For the price I paid for them, I won't hesitate to go back to rubber grips that are much easier to clean, and personally, feel a lot better.
