Now that I've figured out my swing issues, I have realized that I may need my wedges adjusted. My irons are 2 degrees upright and an inch long, however my Vokey wedges are just off the rack clubs. I have a 56 and a 60. I really need to get new shafts in them that are an inch longer, but I'm not sure about having them bent 2 degrees. Have any of you bent these wedges? I think it will help me a lot to have them match my irons in length and lie.
Sorry if I should have put this in the repair section...maybe a mod can move for me.
Mine are bent 3* upright, I ordered them from titleist that way, also 1/2 inch longer. I have the 52 and 56 in tour chrome. Shouldn't be a probelm to get them bent and instead of buying new shafts just remove the grip and epoxy in some extensions and then re-grip, you'll never know they're there.

Good idea...i did that with my putter, but I wasn't sure if it was a good idea for irons, given the abuse they take from high swing speeds etc. I'll try it out.

I wouldn't go bending until you hit them off of a lie board. I'm not sure about Nike irons, but in my case for example, I have Mizuno irons, and Mizuno's lies are 2 degree's flatter than Titleist irons out of the factory. I had my Mizuno's bent up 2 degrees but didn't need my Vokey wedges bent at all because they were already right off the shelf (considering they are already 2 up more than Mizuno).
Had my Vokeys bent 3* flat. No problems. Having the lie angles right on your short irons and wedges is a must. Once you get them adjusted you should see better accuracy.
I had all my clubs including my Vokeys adjusted today. Had the lie changed and after checking the loft it was 2*stronger than the stated loft on the 50* and the 58*. My 54* was actually 56 1/2*.

I went and had them checked and bent today. Cost me $4.00 per club. I also had the loft's checked. My 60* was at 58*, which would explain why I hit it farther than any 60* I've ever owned. So now she's back at 60*
The 56* was actually at 55*, and now she's back at 56*. I put a 1 inch extention in each and regripped them myself to save a couple bucks, so hopefully they're all tuned up and will start producing some results. Time will tell.

Did you hit a few balls off of a lie board first? Really, bending the lie any degree without doing this is just a shot in the dark to whether or not you get them right. Don't get me wrong...they will still be playable, but wont be as suited to your swing as they could be.
