Pull Cart broke...

Hey Guys,

I have an EL cheapo folding lightweight golf cart. The plastic axles on one of the wheels snapped off. Probably my fault. Does anyone know where I can get these online? I don't know the make, but it's pretty generic pull cart style.

Thanks.

I you can't get in touch with the manufacturer, bite the bullet and go out and get yourself a good cart...I bought a Bag Boy 440 LT and it is a really nice one with large ball bearing wheels. What ever model you buy, just make sure it has real ball bearings in the wheels and not just bushings. That way it will last as long as you do. The nice thing about Bag Boy is that they have a good customer/parts department and you can replace anything fast and cheaply. Fortunately, my cart has never needed anything. Go ahead and buy a good one and you won't be left with something you can't get parts for. You can get a decent model for 50 to 70 bucks or so. It might cost more than your El Cheapo, but what's the value of a super cheap one, if it breaks and you can't fix it? Spend a few bucks on a good one, and you won't have the worry. I'm glad I did. My 440LT cost me about $70 and is has 100+ rounds of golf on it and is still as good as new. That thing has rolled several hundred miles behind me toting a full bag of clubs. It has been one of the best investments I have made in a long time. It lives in the trunk of my car year round. I just get it out and clean it off with the hose once in a while. You really do get what you pay for.

Check your local lawn mower repair shop and see if they have wheels that you can mount on your cart.

Good idea!!! Change out the whole assembly. Replace with steel shaft and new wheels. That is if the condition of the other parts are OK, and its cost effective !! If not , trash it. I have a BagBoy SC525 pusher($99.95- ProGolf) three wheeler. Love it over my old puller type. Old(like me) puller did a great job because it had good parts an was well constructed. Grandson will inherit it. SC525 has really saved my back while playing in hilly terrains.
