How do you charge?

I started building clubs about 2 years ago. Mainly regripping and reshafting and I built a few sets for friends. Recently a few guys at the local courses heard that I built clubs and have expressed interest in having me build clubs for them. I already did some regripping for some of them. Most of the components I order from Golfsmith and Golfworks along with a few others online. Since the catalogs have the price of the components in them, customers know what I pay and they can even get the components themselves, so how do you figure what to charge?

You charge what your time is worth. This is one of the main reasons I dropped golfsmith and to an extent golfworks. They are associated more with cut and glue builders so you are limited in what you can charge.

I build as a hobby. Where to you get your components? PM me if you care to share.

I use SMT, Wishon and KZG. KZG will only work with top builders so while they are very good clubs they are difficult to land a account with. Wishon is not as tough or is SMT.
good luck

Cool

Check what Golfsmith charges to assemble a club, and then decide what you want to charge so you can get all their work. Then offer more for the money. And do better work for your customers.

How do you charge,,, Hmmm good question.

First I lower my head, and then I put my hands to the side of my head and Hold each index finger up. I then stomp and grunt alot, then I run at whatever I wanted to charge at in the first place.

SOrry I couldn't resist
