Ping Beryllium putters - speed up tarnishing

I have just bought a PING Beryllium Myday putter, unfortunately it's been bright polished (probably why it was so cheap!!). Is there any way to speed up the tarnishing process that sends Beryllium that really nice dark brown colour?

I know the building industry uses a chemical to speed up the patina process for copper roofs, trim, etc. Contact one of them and ask what chemical they use. If you can get ahold of some, try it on a samll area of the club first to see what happens.

I've read that using a chemical called Sulfurated Potash mixed with water will give you the dark brown to black patina you're trying to get. I don't know where to get it, but I'm sure you can get more info with a google search.

Copper + alcohol = tarnish?
Not sure about this one, but it seems right. Just make sure and keep it off the shaft. It promotes rust on steel.

Don,t bother, I used to have a Be Anser 2, polished it up a few times and it was dark and tarnished after about 6 rounds, just wipe it clean a few times and nature will do the rest.
On the polished front, I played with 2 close friends at Burntisland GC in Fife and would wind them up by "flashing" the sun at them during the summer when i,d polished it up, only in the spirit of friendly golf of course!!!
