"Pulled shaft" prep?

I have a like new pulled graphite shaft that still has a small amount a dried epoxy on it. Can I just rough it up some and reinstall or is there more to the prep than that?
Thanks...

As long as the shaft still fits in the hosel, you can rough up the small amount of epoxy and install. It is not necessary to remove 100% of the old epoxy, which may lead to excess sanding and compromising the shafts integrity.

AGWSA is right! You need to rough it up to make sure it fits in the hosel and for better gripping when installed. But I would make sure you sand as much epoxy off the tip as possible.
