Quick Question about fitting

Do places like Golfsmith or big retailer do fitting? I live south of Houston and most local pro shops are killing me with the cost of the fitting and clubs....I was wondering if I could find a better deal at a bigger retailer? Anyone know a good place in houston.

Golfsmith stores all seem to have at least basic fitting while some offer "HotStix", which also picks clubs and shafts based on your swing.

Go to the professional clubfitters society web site and punch in your zip code. They will list all the clubfitters in your area. Make sure they have a launch monitor. You will likely be fit much better here than anywhere else
