Hi guys, I've managed to break my Sasquatch. I went out to the range and unfortunately caught the mat just as I was about to stike the ball, the head has split near the heel. The shaft is in perfect condition, is it possible to re-head the club and if so where?

I'd call Nike and explain what happened. You might be pleasantly surprised at what they would do for you. Worst case scenerio, nothing. I knew a guy that hit the ball so hard that he actually cracked the face of a Callaway driver 3 different times. They replaced it 2 times free, sayng the 3 rd time they were done. Back during the Great Big Bertha period I was fooling with shafts and had had the shaft changed 2 different times and had wished I had not touched it to start with. During a phone call to Callaway, on a totally unrelated issue, I casually mentioned what I had gotten into with the shafts and didn't know what I was going to do next. Well, much to my surprise they offered me a new driver to start over with. So you never know how they might react. If they want to establish great customer relations they might do you a big favor. If not I'm sure they can steer you in the right direction. Good luck.

Whatever you do DON"T tell Nike you hit the matt. Tell them it split form hitting balls at the range. If they feel they can weasle out of it by blaming your poor hitting, they will. Otherwise they should replace it no problem.
Next time go to a PCS Class A club buillder Get properly fit . It sounds as if the driver was to long for you causing poor quality contact. This is a normal problem with OEM drivers. If you are not 6'1" or taller odds are good you are hitting to long a shaft. Not to many PGA pros with 45" or longer drivers. Could also be a swingweight or flex issue. I am amased at the golfers who continuously fall for the OEM fitting system. Unless your fitting is 1 1/2 hours or longer and use a launch monitor and frequency analysis of the shaft then you are not being fit correctly. The letters on the shaft mean NOTHING. There is no industry standard and these companies can put whatever flex on a shaft they wish. I have seen A flex shafts stiffer than S flex. So bottom line just because you have name brand equipment doesnt mean you have properly fit equipment.
No offense to anyone just stating a true fact.
yeah nike is really good about that stuff i broke the shafts in my PW twice and my 6 iron once from heavy punch shots. they took it back and good as new. good luck keep us posted
