Changing shafts

It is possible to change shaft from one club to another? If that can be done it would be great for a hybrid I got. I had a Cleveland LDI with a aldila NVS and a Nickent wit a UST, it would be great to have the Nickent 3DX with the Aldila.

Shafts can certainly be reused. The main issue is the hosel diameter of the hybrid heads in question. Hybrids are unique because their hosel i.d.s can be 0.335", 0.350", 0.370", or 0.355" taper, depending on the model. If you do some investigation you could probably find out what size of shaft is in each of these models. A smaller shaft tip size can fit in the same or larger diameter hosel with the use of shims. Other intracacies are in play as well, such as heads weights and desired clublength that could cause the shaft to play differently in two different heads.
