S300 vs S400

What is the difference between the Dynamic Gold S300 and S400 shafts and how would this difference affect the swing characteristics of the club?

s400 are a bit heavier and will have a slightly lower ballflight...it is not that big of a difference though!

Cool

My understanding is that the s400 shaft is just a bit "stiffer" than the s300, not heavier. And the s200 shaft is a bit "softer" than the s300.Are the s400 shafts heavier also?

According to the True Temper website, there is a 2 gram difference between the S300 and S400 shafts. I was just curious as to what the characteristics are for each and what would be fitting criteria.

They are weight sorted heavier shafts than the S300. Some will argue that makes them play stiffer and lower ball flight a tad. Both pretty good assumptions.

It is 2 grams for .355 tapered irons, which is what fits my clubs.
