Changing Offset

I know you can change the length and lie of your irons, but can you change the offset?

My wife just got me a set of Taylormade RAC OS2's and I think the offset may be a little exaggerated. Can this be changed and what kind of cost is involved?

Sorry I don't have a direct answer for you but I've never heard of it being done.

Is it really that bad that you would want to try and change them and risk possibly snapping an iron head?
