Titleist 983k Shaft question

I have this driver with 8.5 degrees of loft and the Titleist Speeder Stiff Shaft. This combo works good for me but recently i have been thinking about upgrading to one of the 905 models. Here's the problem, where i live, i cannot get fitted or try any exotic shafts, hence my turning to you all for help. I want a shaft that plays very much like the Titleist Speeder stiff and don't have a clue. Can anyone else please help me out?

Thanks,
Rao.

Sorry, but on my search I couldn't find the specs for that shaft. If you give some details on your swing and such, you should be able to get some shaft recommendations.

The Pro force v2, Aldila 65/75, Fujikura Speeder (better quality than the older ones), Diamana Blue board, Graphite Design YS-7 ( many pros use this shaft) . just a few. if you like the speeder combo, the 905r does come with it.

Thanks, Mikey. It looks like there are a variety of models that play like the Titleist Speeder. Out of curiosity, i have heard that the GD YS-6 shaft has the tendency to be a little whippy, is the YS-7 very much different than the YS-6?

Thanks,
Rao.

The YS7 is a slightly heavier shaft, therefore it will feel a little more stable through the swing.

The Diamana is a great option, if you are willing to pay the upcharge for it. With three models now, there is one to fit every swing. Also, the variety of weights make it even easier to find the one that works best.

Thanks guys, this is great. I will try and give the Proforce V2 and the Diamana shafts a try.
