Original Winn G8 or new G8 RAVE?
I despritly need new grips. The stock TaylorMades just are cutting the mustard any more. I wanted the original G8's but now I see that Winn has the G8 RAVE for a few dollors more. I was just wondering if anyone had any opinions on either of the two. Is the RAVE any different than the original G8 besides look? I couldn't find any reviews on either of them so I decided to see if anyone had any experience with them. All opinions are welcome.

G8 is a great grip. Firm but not overly so, great tackiness. I have them on my woods, and the new DSi "integration" grips on my irons right now... They're like a G8 but softer. First thing I do with a new club now is put a Winn on it...
I don't believe the Rave is much more than a cosmetic change - also, at Golfsmith the Rave is only 30 cents more than the stock G8, so it's your preference... Be careful though, you won't go back to stock ever again.
