Cleaning/restoring vintage golf clubs...
Picked up a beautiful set of dead stock 1973 Wilson X-31 clubs, 2-PW.
As you can see, the faces and backsides of the heads are pristine... http://i20.ebayimg.com/01/i/000/99/27/4abd_1.JPG ...the shafts are also in great condition, but it appears that they have normal wear from years of storage... http://i4.ebayimg.com/07/i/000/99/27/4d7f_1.JPG ...please note that I have not received these yet, but when I do, what can I do to clean them and/or restore them to grade A condition? Then, what can I do to keep them in the condition that is desirable?
