Re: should I reshaft my 3w? or is it in my head?

I put 95g YS-9 X into my Geek 3w and hit nothing but dead pull hooks with it. The point is, it could very well be that the weight of the shaft that could be the issue. I mean if you were hitting a 65R reasonably well, how did you come up using a 95g X flex for your reshaft? FYI, I reshafted my 3w with a nice 78g Argent and it is now so much easier to hit with much better feel and confidence. The chances of the orientation of the shaft screwing things up is very small.

Re: should I reshaft my 3w? or is it in my head?

ok so I took the 3w to a new clubmaker to get it reshafted. When I called to ask if it was done, the first question he asked was where did i get it installed. He told me that the previous clubmaker ground down the tip too much which could affect the longevity of the club. I got . I think he ruined my shaft on purpose because when I asked him how much it would be to install a shaft that i was going to buy on the internet he seemed mad that I didnt buy it from him.
