Cutting kids clubs for my daughter

I have a kids set from my niece and I want my daughter to use them, actually I already bought them from her, but when I brought them home, they are about 4 inches longer than what my daughter should be using, kids set is for 10-12 while my daughter is just 8...

Would you advice me to cut them? since they are kids clubs already and lighter than the adult set. Thanks.

Re: Cutting kids clubs for my daughter

Honestly I wouldn't cut them more than a couple of inches or your going to make them stiffer and unbalanced. I would suggest just saving them for her to grow into them and get her maybe a cheaper set for now. I saw kids sets at target I think for 49.99 with bag. It may have been k-mart but there are lots of inexpensive sets and if you cut then you'll have to re-grip.
