changing th e degree on my taylor made driver

I have a taylor made r5 9.5 degree driver, is there a way to make it a higher degree say 12 or thirteen? I can't seem to get any hieght and distance in my drives so I thought maybe a higher degree would work.. I don't want to go and buy another driver if I don't have to...

well, I dont think you are able to bend the lofts of woods. And if you can, probably not that much. Maybe the shaft you are using is too stiff? Too high of a kickpoint? Just my

I agree. It's either the shaft or your swing speed. Or a combination of the two.

9.5 to 12 or 13 is waaaayyy too much. Sell it and buy a new one. Or swing a three wood. They're 13*-15* usually.

go to a custom fitter..


cannot alter degrees on woods
