Re-shafting Nike CPR

I have a Nike CPR 18* hybrid. I love it, it's my go to club on all short par 4's. It's fitted with a Grafalloy blue shaft in stiff. I find this shaft difficult to load at times and my bad shots with this club are low left. I'm thinking of buying a particular shaft and having it fitted, the new shaft tip diameter is 0.370" . Can anyone tell me if this shaft will fit my CPR and if not what tip size i require. Thanks ,

Re: Re-shafting Nike CPR

I have reshafted my nike cpr hybrids and they used 350 shafts. One off them has a grafalloy blue prolaunch 65 gram shaft (my 18 degree cpr) and it works very well. The prolaunch shaft will have a higher ball flight and softer tip than the Grafalloy Blue. A stiff Prolaunch will feel softer than a stiff Blue.

Hope this helps. Aldila NV 65 or NVS 65 would also work well.

Re: Re-shafting Nike CPR

The Aldila NVS (burnt orange) or Grafalloy Pro Launch will get the ball up. The Aldila NV (green) is a high bend point similar to the Grafalloy Blue. A Graphite Design YS6 would be a higher ball flight as well.
