Taylor-Made Rifle shafts

are the stepless shafts that used to come in the old burner clubs the same as a regular rifle or are they any different? and if anyone knows what the hosel size (parallel or taper tip) in the old super steel irons. thinking of buying a set on ebay and swapping shafts with my grapites

Re: Taylor-Made Rifle shafts

Go to TaylorMade Golf and see if they list the hosel diameters of their older sets in the "Vintage" section. I don't remember if they do from the top of my head.

Watch throwing steel shafts in head sold with graphite. Some companies (Ping I know for sure) make different weight heads for graphite and steel.

Re: Taylor-Made Rifle shafts

yeah thanx Martini, i called T-Made and the guy said i should be all set with reshafting the XDs with steel as far as weighting the heads, and i just went ahead and bought new rifles to put in my irons. I then went on and asked to see if i could get some of those nice shiny silver striped ferrels and he said i need to get them from an authorized dealer :( ......off the the GW so they can order them for me i guess! thanx again
