It is not 'my cup of tea', but I do recognize a job well done!

Can you share with us how you did it?

PS: I love that 1st picture. It almost looks like the window is part of the putter design, like a gun sight!

Once upon a time, I put that same finish on a knife blade. I won't say what I used until I find out what socalef9 used on his clubs, but I will mention that it can be found in the refrigerators of many people.

Looks like you got the desired effect and the paintfill is well done...I am a chrome/remove the paintfill guy so like shooter I can appreciate a nice job but doesn't appeal to my tastes...

Mayonaisse. Same color & effect on carbon steel, but you do have to use a little elbow grease to get a decent shine out of it, as I'm sure socalef9 had to do as well.

Mayo, really, gotta have a go at that, must be the sulphur in the egg that oxidises the carbon steel. Dunno if this is worth a try, potassium suphate (could be sulphide, aka liver of sulphur) turns silver, to a black/blue matt finish, I wonder what it would to to carbon steel. Ill have a go and keep u posted
