X Forged question

Does anyone know if the Callaway X Forged irons are parallel tip (0.370") or taper tip (0.355")?

Also how much stiffer do Dynamic Gold X100s feel compared to the DG S300s?

Thanks for the help.

Re: X Forged question

From Callaway's website, the "shafts available" tab indicates that the graphite options are taper tip. I'd imagine that the steel shafts would also be taper tipped, .355"

X100's will be noticably stiffer than S300's. IMO, I wouldn't mess with X100's unless your 5-iron SS is 90 MPH or better. S400 bridges the gap nicely. I've played X100's almost exclusively in my irons for a long time and I love them. You'll notice that they feel stiffer, especially on less-than-full shots. Personally, I like the super-stiff feel. For me, I feel a lot of bend in S300's.
