sticker removal

Anybody know an easy way to remove the stock stickers off of a steel shaft? Soap and water?
i don't have any googone.

Acetone, lighter fluid, brake cleaner fluid, carb cleaner..etc will all work.

Easiest way would be....

If you have a head gun you can put it on low and heat the sticker for about 15 seconds. Then you can slowly pull it off and use some acetone to clean the rest up. Using the Acetone while the shaft and substance is still warm helps as well.

I believe that Nail Polish remover is very similar to Acetone and would work just as good.

If you don't have a heat gun then Acetone and some elbow grease will work.
