Re-shafting?

I've recently re-placed my old putter with a newish Ray Cook. I love the new putter but the shaft is to short for my likings, so I'm wanting to put a new shaft on it. I'm wanting to know if anyone knows of any how-to's on this since I've never done it before. Also does anybody suggest the double-bend shafts?

Re: Re-shafting?

Just add a shaft extension to the shaft, and you don't have to replace the current shaft. Just a new grip. Much easier and cheaper. Doulbe bend shafts are good, if you like a putter with that shaft. If not, useless.

Re: Re-shafting?

You could probably even keep the same grip if you can get someone to BLOW it off. Alot of them will, but sometimes they rip or just won't come off.
