What does it cost to re-shaft a club?

I was looking to get one of my wedges re-shafted. Just wondering what this might cost. Thanks!

At most places, cost of shaft + cost of grip + $15 to $20.

That's correct. If you go with graphite add $5.

Well it can get up around $30, if you want to get a shaft Spinned/pured/floed

This is usually just with graphite, however many people get their irons spinned.

Around here it will cost $20 to $30 plus the price of the shaft and new grip. Shafts can run from $5 to $30 for most shafts. Check out Goflsmith's site for shaft prices if you want more data on this.

Re: What does it cost to re-shaft a club?

Your standard shafts usually cost more from a local shop, so a shaft you can get from Golfsmith for $8 might be marked up to $10 or $15. Same with the grip. The shop I used to work for would charge $5 for a grip you can get for $2.75 on-line. Figure $20 for materials and $10 or $15 for labor. Anything more than that is a bit of a rip off.
