Golfsmith's Snake Eye Shafts

Golfsmith has discounted these shafts:
Snake Eyes Pro Launch $34.94
Snake Eyes Pro Force V2 $39.94
Although the specs are the same as the shaft manufacturer what are any differences?
Would these shafts be similar to what the OEM manufacturers are putting in their clubs?
I would prefer not to have the name "Snake Eyes" on my graphite shafts but at these prices I am giving it a 2nd look.
Thanks,
Gary

Re: Golfsmith's Snake Eye Shafts

I used to have a Snake Eye's driver and 3 wood and they said Snake Eyes on the shafts, but they were actually made by UST.

So those probably are also made by UST, so I say go for it

Those shafts look way too much like the originals to be different, the lettering looks identical. They are most likely made by the regular manufacturer for snake eyes which is why they can sell them at a discount. Probably not a bad deal.

Re: Golfsmith's Snake Eye Shafts

Golfsmith owns Snake Eyes, so they can sell the Snake Eyes branded shafts to go along with the rest of the Snake Eyes components they sell.

Re: Golfsmith's Snake Eye Shafts

You might want to re-check the specs on those shafts. Last I looked, and Snake Eyes version of those shafts had slightly higher torque ratings than the original Prolaunch or V2 shafts. If a little higher torque will not bother you, then I'd say buy them. The price is good. If they had them in 75 gram models, I'd have to look into buying some.
