Undersize grips

A friend at work asked me to change his grips for him. I measurd his hands and he only has a
7" hand meaasurement which puts him at 2 sizes below standard. His shafts are .600, . I read somewhere that stretching grips 1" down a shaft will shrink a grip one size, but what can be done to get a grip 2 sizes below standard. I was hoping his shafts were .580 and I was going to stretch .600s down his shafts but his shafts are 600s. I was thinking maybe putting a womens grip on them? Any ideas?

Cool Re: Undersize grips

Get some Lady grips. They are smaller to fit a womans hand, and should do the job for you. I just purchased a Winn Lady/undersize grip for my wife's new driver. It's also lighter, so the swing weight of the club is a little higher. You might also want to install the grip with an air compressor and NOT use any grip tape. That will make the finished grip about .010 thinner too.
