Painting putter.

I have seen some of the pictures and threads... I have an old ping anser 3. I want to take off the white line and paint a new 1. Supplies needed? What do I need to remove the original white line and what would i need to paint in a new one?

that looks really good.

what kind of brush did you use? or did you just squeeze the paint out of the tube?

From post 11 in that thread:

"I used a toothpick to apply the paint, you need to actually FILL the engravings up to the top (don't be worried about the stuff that goes outside of the "lines"). Let it completely dry... overnight is best, but 4 hours should be enough. Then you dab a tiny bit of acetone onto a paper towel and lightly rub over the painted areas. If you get the pressure right, the paint that is in the engraving will stay and everything around it will get wiped off. Use a fresh part of the paper towel when paint starts to build up on it.

If you are doing multiple colors, only do one at a time when you are wiping the excess off... if you try to wipe away more than one color at once, they will run together. Top it off with some clear and then it won't come out when you wash/scrub your clubs."
