I have a scotty cameron studio stainless model.....and i was wondering if there is anything i can do to polish off some scratches and dents i have on the top line of my putter.....i DO NOT want to remove the finish and have a raw look.....is there a way to safely remove imperfections w/o damaging the finish? thanks
deep scratches and dents cannot be removed without removing material. About the best you can do is use rubbing compound to get minor imperfections off.
Automotive rubbing compound or polishing compound. Rubbing compound will be courser grit, so you might want to try the polishing compound first to see if it's enought to do the job.
In that case, I'd recommend a good coat of car wax, to cut down on air resistance so you can swing that club faster. No telling how far you'll hit the next ball.
