Bending a club and bounce
At my golf shop there was a used Titleist wedge that was 54 degrees. Mine is starting to wear out and I thought it would be a good deal. It was the 2009 wedge and they wanted 55 plus tax. They would've probably gave me 35-40 for my current 56 wedge. I want a 56. My current 56 has 10 degree bounce. The used 54 has 8 degree. How much will the bounce change if I bend it to a 56?

I doubt if you could actually tell the difference if you were told they were the same.

I can tell the difference between my 8 degree 50 degree gap wedge and the 10 bounce 56 sand wedge.

Basically for each degree weakening you gain one degree bounce and vice versa...

No doubt there; I was thinking of the difference in bounce.

Yea, I can. my gap is 8 degree. sand is 10. I have to almost somewhat "pick it" with the sand wedge.

Exactly. The difference is really apparent on tight lies.
