to be honest the shaft definately a fine crafted product...you can just tell its great....but i feel like i probably would be better off with the 652 instead...i just feel like its just a TAD too heavy...but im not sure if i want to pull it out..im not too sure how much i can get for the shaft...and plus im not sure how much it would cost me to get a new 652 speeder installed...scott do u know ??

hey JC, what kind of grip you got there? Next time you change grips, you might want to get an ultralite grip as it may make a noticeable difference on the weight. And how long do you play your shaft at? And most importantly what does your ball flite look like. 757 is still considered a lightweight shaft so you might give it couple of months as there is a good chance you'll get used to the weight. My old shaft was in the 70-75 gram range as well and I had a hard time in the beginning but got used to the weight after about a month or so.

i have the stock taylor made grip that comes with the R5...i was thinking about regripping it though cuz i dont like the grip too much..how much are the grips you're talking about?...im still somewhat new to the game...this is my first year with my own equipment...so im just wondering if it's a hassle for me to get another shaft on it...like selling my current one and getting the 652 instead...but i tend to have the mentality that im going to continue to play and continue to improve so maybe i should just keep the shaft...my average swing speed right now is right at 95mph..i have a moderate tempo...i prefer keeping a smooth swing so i feel like its harder for me to load the 757...on the occassional good hits my ball flight was low/mid (which i dont mind) but it was a little low on the most part...probably b/c i couldnt load it up...my buddy has about a 105 swing and he got it up a lot higher than i did...but i did notice that my drives rolled a lot farther...it definately didnt stay as high in the air but i did gain distance...

Most of the fuji speeders pulled from TM drivers on ebay fetch around 100 or so. However most of those have .335 tip and are stiff or x-stiff flex. So I'm not quite sure how that would affect your shaft as it is regular most surely .350. Also the longer the shaft is, the more marketable it is. For instance f your playing length right now is 44 inches then most likely the person buying it would have to use it on a fairway wood. There's too many factors but what I would do is look on ebay for pulled 757 that are similar to your shaft's specs and see what they fetch.

Most grips are relatively inexpensive. Less than $5 unless you go for leather. There are some grips which are ultralite and it can make ur shaft feel a little lighter. I find that having a right grip can make a huge difference in feel. I've gone through 4 different grips on my driver in the past 3 months to find the right one.

If your swing speed is 95 mph than you shouldn't have problems loading a regular shaft. If you feel like your having trouble loading, you might try to make a quicker transition at the top. Like start your downswing before you finish your backswing to get the most bend on your shaft. BTW, what's the loft on your driver?

thanks for the input....loft is 9.5...i got it cuz i had a 10.5 from my old driver and my flight was too high...i just prefer lower trajectories and more roll...i guess it'll hurt me when i have to clear a water hazard 250yds away...but i've yet to face any of those :nodsmiley

JC you might find that there are other shafts which might be a better fit for you. For instance, I have my eyes set on a 553 speeder. These are even lighter than the 652 but less spin than the 569. Important thing is to hit them so you know you can live with them before you spend the dough.

im not sure anymore....i played 9 today and 1 good drive that went straight and Far...others were generally slices...or a slight fade...i think im gonna try to tough it out unless i get convinced that i can sell my shaft for around 100 and get another fuji installed for not much more...we'll see i guess...

The 652 has a med tip with a mid bend point. Torque is 3.7 in the stiff. I have one and love it. It can take a hard swing when I need to and it still feels sweet. A new one installed cost around $240.00 I got mine new on Ebay un-cut for $118.
