mizuno shaft question

Hi im in the process of buying a set of mx23,s just wondering if there is much difference in the goldlite stiff300 compared to the gold reg300. I,ve tried the goldlite s300 and also the goldlite r300. I found the goldlite r300 to hit the ball to high for my liking, but hit the s300 on a better penetrating ball flight. I normally use regular shafts so was surprised to find the stiffer shaft more to my liking.

Whats up.. The Goldlite S300 is rated for swing speeds of 70-80mph and has a mid trajectory.. The Gold R300 rated for swing speeds of 75-85mph and has a low trajectory. Only diffence I would say the trajectory. If you hit better with the Goldlite S300 I would go with that over the Goldlite R300.That is rated for 65-75mph, Maybe cause of your swing speed the goldlite R300 wasnt stiff enough for you. I would try the Gold R300 probably rated for swing speed and has the lower trajectory that you are looking for.

Each type of shaft flex rating will be different. There used to be a standard amoung shafts but not any more. One shafts Reg will be another shaft stiff. You have to try them to figure it out. You can look up their CPM rating and that can help but two shaft can have the same CPM and load totaly different. There is no sure way to judge a shaft until you hit it.
