Aldila NVS shaft update..

Whats up guys just wanted to give an update for anybody that is interested in these shafts.. I fitted my Ignite 410cc 10.5 driver and my Ignite 3 Wood 15* with the Aldol NVS 55gar Reg flex shafts. First Golfsmith did a great job on the reshafting they charged me $30 bucks to do the both of them. I had the driver cut down to 44". I got them back today and took them to the range, and all I have to say is OMG either today was the best range day I have ever had or these shafts did a world of good.. I was hitting the ball straight like I could not believe, I didn't loose any distance that I can see from cutting the driver down an inch 1/2. I mean I had alot more control and they just felt great the stock Fuji felt so wimpy compared to these. They were $$$ but in my opinion well worth it, I was slicing literally 6 out of 10 hits. Today I hit 7 out of 10 shots straight and the ones I did slice they weren't even a slice more of fade still in play depending.. All I have to say is either I had a lucky *** day or these shafts rock. But regardless I love em I would recommend them to anyone.. Just my .02 if anyone is interested

It makes sense that your slicing less with the NVS....the torque is higher then the stock fuji so it will help with closing your clubface. I am glad the shaft is working out for you.

I'm interested getting the Aldila 65 NVS R shaft in a Ping G2 driver. Ping just recently offered it as an option. I have demoed the G2 with an Aldila NV 65 R shaft and liked the feel and results but I did hit it a little low. I won't have the opportunity to hit the NVS soon so I was wondering how the results with the NVS 65 will compare. The NVS does have a softer tip so I assume that will mean a higher trajectory and it will be easier to close the club face as you indicated. My concern is will the NVS hit it too high and will I lose some control? Would the NV 65 R or NVS 65 R be better for a my mid 90s smooth tempo swing?

My swing speed is about the same as yours, My avg was about 94mph I a slow smooth tempo.. I demoed the Aldila NV 65 R, I liked it but I also hit it a bit low thats why I went with the Aldila NVS I didnt demo it I just went for it cause I wanted my trajectory a bit higher than the Aldila NV 65.. I also went with the 55gr instead of the 65gr to get a little more torque to help close the club face. I dont think the trajectory is to high at all and my control is still there with this shaft. I love the shaft best $90 I have ever spent, I say go for it just my .02. Any other question just ask me take care
