Scotty Cameron American Classic LEATHER grip??

I recently got told about upcoming Scotty Cameron American Classic putter. I believe its going to be limited edition from what i could gather.
I was told that it has a 'genuine' leather grip. From my limited experience in golf i didnt think there had been a REAL leather grip since back in the 50's/60's when cameron first started making putters.

Anyways, the guy didnt want to tell me who made the leather grips for the putter, but i got the impression that it wasnt titleist.

Can anyone point me in the direction of the exact grip on this putter? cause i would like to try it myself without buying the cameron putter.

Well I havent heard anything about a new Scotty Cameron Classic. And I get there newsletter cause I am part of the Cameron Club. In late March the new 05 Line of Scotty Cameron putters will be coming out. If you go on to golfchannel.com and see the links to the 05 golfshow they show a few of the new scottys. Scotty Cameron does make a handmade leather grip its not a wrap style grip. Its extremely hard to find and if you do find it on ebay or something like that expect to pay about $200+++. The other thing is Scotty Cameron does not sell his grips to the public anymore, due to people buying his grips and putting them on counterfit Scotty cameron putters and selling them as real ones etc etc. So basically if you are a Scotty owner you would have to send your putter to them for authentication and then if he has any grips in stock you can get one thru the Cameron Custom Shop.. Hope that helps

Bighitt, now I know what you are talking about... Yeah I guess there is a new Scotty cameron Classic coming out its the same style a the old Bullseye.. If you go to Titleist.com they have a pic of it but it doesnt show the grip. But if you are just looking for the grip like I wrote before they are very hard to get you cant just order them like any other grip, unless they start selling to the public but like I said I spoke with them a week ago and they said they would not sell to the public.
