Im ordering a Cobra 454 comp in a 10.5 degree, im having an aldila nvs 65-S put into it. I was wondering if anyone has heard about this combination before and has seen good results from it. My worries were that i would launch the ball to high off the tee. I currently have a Cobra 400sz in a 9 degree with a stiff stock shaft,i get absolutely no height on my shots!

if you would, post your current driver, etc. on "your driver and swing speed" information and then when you get your new driver, post that info so we will be able to see the difference for comparisons. thanks
The difference in launch angle between 9* and 10.5* is a lot. I've never hit a driver with the NVS shaft but it's gotten a lot of press on this forum. I have played with the Cobra 440 SZ in 9* stiff stock shaft and liked it a lot. My trajectory with that driver was ideal.
I have a 9 degree King Cobra 400 sz in a stiff shaft,The shaft is Aldila HM Tour 60(mid kick point) my swing speed is in range from 95-105
IMO - I think a 10.5* composite driver (with more weight down low, to kick the ball higher) with an NVS shaft (with a flexible tip to keep the ball higher) will be TOO high for your swingspeed.
OTOH - a 9.5* Cobra with an NVS, or a 10.5 Cobra with an NV (stiffer tip keeps the ball lower) might be just the ticket!............
