Nippon Shafts?

Im looking for a lighter steel shaft. I currently have Dynamic Golf stiffs on my titleist 704's. They feel really heavy, and its hard to produce a smooth swing. My local golf pro told me about the Nippon 970 stiff's. Their about 25g lighter. Anyone used these shafts before? and what do you think?? It seems like Nippons are big on the tour.

I am using Nippon 990 Uniflex in my irons and they are the best steel shafts I've used. (Had temper and a few others before)

is there a big difference in the Nippon 970 stiffs and the 990 Uniflex. I have hit the ERC Fusions with the uniflex on them and they do feel really nice, good swing weight. But i couldnt find those shafts anywhere, so i went with the 970's.

I have no idea what the difference between the 970 & 990 is. I'm sure they aren't too different.
