Removing Rust

Well I have and Old 3 iron that I would like to start using this year. My season is going to start in about 2 weeks. There is some rust on it. I was wondering how you would go about removing this. I dont wanna spend a lot of money because its quite old.

I dont know if rust actually effects ball contact. Unless its on the face, May Just generate more spin I dont know, Though, Im sure you could pick up the same kind of 3 iron off of ebay or somehwere quite cheap.

Im absolutely serious with this, fill a cup with coke and let the iron sit in the coke for a little while, take it out of the coke give it a wipe and a rinse and you are good to go!

Seriously this works great, just let the club sit in the coke overnite and it should be good to go. The club and the coke will smell nasty afterwards tho so wash the thing off with soap and get rid of the coke so nobody drinks it.
