cost for new shaft/re shafting putter

how much does it usually cost to get a new steel 35" shaft and have someon put it on? right now the putter is about ~31", i think someone had it custom fitted, it also has a **** grip on it. but i cant really complain because its a rossa monza in good condition that i paid $30 including headcover! the club is alright, it works fine, but i would like it to be longer so its more comfortable for me.

I'd say maybe $15-$20 for the shaft and the install. Maybe an extra $5 for a grip. $50 for a nice Monza is a heck of a deal, my friend.

Great deal you got there...

The shops around here charge $20 for labor on a single club. $10 if you do more than one. This does not include the charges for the grip and shaft.

You should go to your nearest golf shopt to do this. Shipping the clubs to and from the shop would really negate any savings you find online.. Just my opinion..

My repair shop charges $15 for installing a shaft. I'd imagine a putter shaft will cost $10 plus the cost of the grip ($5). All in all, it costs more than you might imagine.

ok, i check out a site and they said the best thing to do is just lengthen the putter, how do they lengthen the putter?? And they said it would only cost about $8 for everything and then anyother $7-$8 to shipp it back, and of course another $7-$8 to ship it there. What do you think? HERE is the site.

To lengthen the shaft, they remove the grip, glue in a shaft extender, cut it to length, and install a new grip.
